Cathlene   Criss   shearon


Cathlene has been creating custom murals, tromp-l'oiel, faux finishes, portraits and oil paintings for private homes and businesses across the nation since 1993. 


Cathlene is a Graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Minor in Art. She also earned her Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Georgia. She earned three art scholarships from Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She was nominated for teacher of the year in Atlanta Georgia and Team Teacher of the Year in the State of Georgia. Cathlene was selected as "The Most Influential Science Teacher" in the Northern Florida region in 2003/2004 school year.  She has been slected as a Distinguished educator in Who's WHo Among America's Teachers in 2000.


Cathlene was a featured artist at the Eagle Eye Art Gallery in Monterey, CA, at the Hotel del Coronado, San Diego Historical Museum, Sand Dollar Too and Many Hands Gallery in San Diego, CA and at Shore Things Gallery in Jacksonville, FL.  Whether painting giant murals of dinosaurs on the side of a house or painting children's murals, Cathlene loves to create.   You can find Cathlene's artwork in more than 10 states across the nation.
